A person who is disappointed that the politician they voted for has not fulfilled their campaign promises

In this module, we have discussed negative letters and how when we respond to disappointment in customers, we often need to start with a “nod of agreement.” This allows the reader (audience) to feel heard and find a bit of similarity with the author of the letter.
For this assignment, I want you to write a short one or two sentences that can be used to get the nod with the audience that had listed the following complaints.
Brought their partner out to dinner and received terrible service and food when celebrating a special occasion
Finally received a product they have long awaited and found it to be a disappointment
A person who had a miserable experience trying to fly across the country to attend a family event that they almost missed
A person who bought their first car from a dealership and it is a lemon they can’t afford to fix
A person who is disappointed that the politician they voted for has not fulfilled their campaign promises

-describe the situation that they found themselves in (what happened, how was it discovered, nature of the error/fraud)

You may begin working on it and submit any time prior to that date, but be sure to include material covered up through the middle of the semester when writing.
This project will be a case study on a company that failed an audit or committed fraud. General guidelines are that the paper should be at least 5 pages, double spaced. It should also include at least two sources outside of your textbook. Be sure to list any sources that you do use.
Specifically, you should discuss the following topics, as well as anything else you find relevant in the case:
-The general details of the company (who they are, what they do, etc.)
-Describe the situation that they found themselves in (what happened, how was it discovered, nature of the error/fraud)
-What was the aftermath of the situation for the company itself, and the industry if applicable (were they able to recover, were they penalized)?
-How could the error been avoided, or if a fraud case, why wasn’t it uncovered sooner?
-What role did auditors play in this case?
Those are some general guidelines to give you an idea of what you are doing for this project. Beyond that discuss any additional information you think is important to this case. Make connections between things you have learned in your studies with the case you are examining.
Project will be graded based on the rubric that I have attached in the announcements tab on Canvas.
You have 5 weeks to complete this project. If you have any questions please email me.
